Project work at Salmon takes place during evening club sessions and with groups that require more intensive or one to one support.
During clubs, young people can get involved in discussion groups enabling them to explore everyday social and political issues and invited to take part in focus groups organised by Industry professionals where they are able to share their thoughts and opinions and produce group presentations.
Young people are also encouraged to provide feedback about club activities through completing evaluation forms and also voting for thier peers for the prestigious Member of the Month award in recognition of achievements and progress made in club sessions.
Short-term projects may involve opportunities for learning and gaining accreditation through monthly cirriculum programmes. Longer term projects can be from 3-6 months and these often recieve funding from outside companies.
